u 藍輝耀教授 Prof. Lan Hui-yao p 戴沛權教授 Prof. Amos Tai CUHK scholars had received some due recognition of the impressive marks they left in the world of knowledge and innovation. Young Scientist Lauded for Research on Global Warming Prof. Amos P.K. Tai of the Earth System Science Programme became the first Hong Kong scientist to receive the United Nations’s World Meteorological Organization Research Award for Young Scientists 2015 for his work demonstrating the interactive effect of global warming and air pollution on global food production. Exploring New Anti-fibrotic Therapies Prof. Lan Hui-yao, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Biomedical Sciences, won the First Prize in the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award 2015 for his study on the mechanism of organ fibrosis and exploring new anti-fibrotic therapies.
