The Institute was established in 2010 with the objective of contributing to the modernization of China’s monetary and financial systems by proposing new policies and pathways. Naming of Robotics Institute In the naming ceremony of CUHK T Stone Robotics Institute held in April 2016, the University expressed its gratitude to the T Stone Group Limited for the generous donation it made to the Institute. Not only does the Institute focus its research efforts on medical robotics and service robotics for the elderly, but it also encourages faculty members and students to commercialize innovative robotics technology. 命名全球金融及經濟研究所 為鳴謝劉佐德基金有限公司主席 劉佐德先生慷慨捐資支持中大全球 經濟及金融研究所的長遠發展，大 學於 2016 年 4 月將該所命名為「劉佐 德全球經濟及金融研究所」。研究 所在 2010 年成立，旨在結集專家學 者拓展新思維，為中國金融體系的開 放和貨幣國際化提出政策建議及新 路向。 命名機器人研究所 大學於同年 4 月將中大機器人研究所 命名為「香港中文大學天石機器人 研究所」，以鳴謝天石集團有限公司 的慷慨捐助。該所將集中研究醫療 機器人和為長者而設的服務機器人， 並鼓勵教授和學生積極開展高新技 術產業化。 47 百川滙學海 涓滴傾社群 Community Outreach and Engagement—Forging Ties Near and Far
