p 環保迎新營參加者手持可再用的無 BPA 水樽 Participants of Green O’Camp wth their reusable BPA-free bottles Energy-saving Policies CUHK was honoured to garner the above awards as a result of the unswerving efforts and dedication of colleagues at all levels. Apart from devising clear energy policies and energy- saving guidelines, the University has launched a Green Office Programme to coordinate eco-friendly measures in its offices. Other Initiatives and Accomplishments • In September 2015, CUHK and Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong) jointly launched a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottle recycling campaign, the first of its kind among local educational institutions. • The waste audit plan was initiated by the University in the fourth quarter of 2015. • In 2015, a total of 17 Orientation Camps joined the Greenest O’Camp Award programme. • The ‘Love Food Hate Waste@CUHK’ campaign was launched in 2013. In 2015, food waste was reduced by almost 20%, compared with the previous year. • During the year, activities held by the CUHK Jockey Club Initiative Gaia were well attended by people on and off campus. 節能政策 獎項背後固然少不了校內同仁協力 一心。除了訂立清晰的能源政策和 節能指引，大學更推出綠色辦公室計 劃，共同維護辦公室環保。 其他措施及成果 • 大學與香港地球之友合作，率全 港院校之先，於 2015 年 9 月底開展 PET 膠樽回收計劃。 • 大學於 2015 年第四季開展廢物審 計計劃。 • 2015 年共有十七個迎新營參加 「環保迎新營贊助計劃」。 • 「惜食在中大」計劃在 2013 年起 推行，而 2015 年的廚餘量比對上 一年減少了近兩成，成績可觀。 • 年內，中大賽馬會地球保源行動 舉行了不少活動，廣獲校內外人 士支持和參與。 53 百川滙學海 涓滴傾社群 Community Outreach and Engagement—Forging Ties Near and Far
