He was L e c tu re r in counseling psychology and in d u s tria l psychology at the U n iv e rs ity o f C a lifo rn ia at Los Angeles from 1952- 1960. He served as Associate Social Scientist fo r the R A N D C orpo ra tion from 1955 to 1958 where he con ducted research in learning and tra in in g methods. H e has been V is itin g Professor at the U n iversities o f M a ry la n d and C onnecticut. D r. T a rw a te r received the A .B . and M aster o f Science Degrees from the U n iv e rs ity o f Southern C a liforn ia , and the Doctorate in Counseling psychology from S tanford U n iv e rs ity in 1951. He serves on the In te rn a tio n a l Relations C omm ittee o f the Am erican Personnel and Guidance Association, Comm ission on In te rn a tio n a l D im ensions o f S tudent Personnel, and the Am erican College Personnel Association. He is a member o f the Am erican Psychological Association and is certified as a Psychologist, State Board o f M ed ica l Exam iners, State o f Californ ia . He is m arried, has three daughters, ages 8, 19 ， 21 and one grandson, age 2 months. COMINGS AND GOINGS From Ha v a r d M r . John C. On January 12, 1965, a delegation o f tw e n ty Japanese educators visited New Asia College and attended an e x h ib itio n o f callig raphy by the D e pa rtm ent o f Fine A rts, o f the College.
