STATUTE 1 Interpretation I n these Statutes, unless the context otherwise requires— " O r d i n a n c e" means T he Chinese University of Ho ng K o ng Ordinance, 1963. STATUTE 2 Congregations 1. T he time, place and procedure of the Congregations of the whole University shall be determined by the Chancellor. 2. T he Chancellor, or i n his absence, the Vice-Chancellor, shall preside at Congregations. 3. A t least one Congregation shall be held in each academic year. 7
