Cancellation. . 20 S T A T U T E 1 INTERPRETATION In these Statutes, unless the contex t otherwise requires — ‘‘Ordinance” means The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance. S T A T U T E 2 CONGREGATIONS 1. The time, place and procedure of th e Congregations of the whole University shall be determined by the Chancellor. 2. The Chancellor, or in his absence, the Vice-Chancellor, shall preside at Congregations. 3. At least one Congregation shall be held in each academic year. 7
