• The 7th Annual A thletic Meet of the Hong Kong Post-Secondary Colleges A thletic Association was held on 16th March at the Government Stadium. Chung Chi College was champion in the men's and runners-up in the women's track and field events, and won ， fo r the 5th time, the group championship with a score of 141 points. • The New Asia College Music Club presented G ilbert and Sullivan's Operetta “ H.M.S. Pinafore" on 31st March at the C ity Hall. The operetta was first performed by the Club in 1963. • A t the invitation of the Academic Department of New Asia College ， Dr. A .T . Roy, Vice-President of Chung Chi College, spoke on ‘‘The Future of Hong Kong" on 22nd March. • M r. Chu Siu-ming ， a fourth year student of Business Management, United College, won a Gold Shield and the Dr. Onward Szeto Challenge Trophy in March fo r his photographs entered in the 13th Hong Kong Students' Photographic Contest organ ized by the King's College Photographic Club. • The Social Convenors Department of the New Asia College Students' Union presented a variety show on 17th March. The programme of the evening included pop music, modern dances, Chinese music, fo lk dances and Japanese sword-play. • The Bridge Club of United College won the championship in a quadrangular bridge tournament held on 24th March at Hong Kong University and participated by teams from Hong Kong University, and Chung Chi, New Asia and United Colleges. • Chung Chi College announced the follow ing appointments: Dr. W illiam D. Hackett Part-time Lecturer in Sociology Miss Carol F. Johnson Cataloguer, L ibrary M r. Kwok Cheuk Pui Geography research surveyor for M r. C. S. Liang under the research grant for Urban Land-Use Survey.
