T h e course w ill include intensive tra in in g in spoken E nglish by means o f live oral d rills and language labora to ry exercises. T h e facu lty w ill be made up o f recent graduates o f W illiam s College, U n ited States. T he course w ill run from 22nd July to 25th August. A summer art course w ill be given by the D epartm ent o f Fine A rts o f New Asia College w ith the purpose o f developing Chinese trad ition a l culture and prom otin g artistic comm unication between the East and the West. Chinese Painting, Western Painting, Decorative A rt, Chinese C alligraphy, P rin t-m a king , Design, and A rt Appreciation w ill be taught by the regular instructors o f the Department. M embers o f the p u b lic who are interested in the field may apply to the department from 11th to 17th July. T h e course w ill run fo r five weeks from 18th July to 21st August. In the last few years the m a jo rity o f students attending have been p rim a ry school art teachers and secondary school students who are planning to study in the Depa rtm ent o f Fine A rts o f the College. Yue Kw o on -C ho h o f Chung C h i College have been accepted b y the M in is try o f Education o f Japan as undergraduate students in the D epartm ent o f Japanese Language o f 4
