• Th e Staff Association o f New Asia College held a "talk-in" session on 23rd March, o n th e topic "Ne w Asia's Status an d It s Relationship with th e University Henceforth". ‘ Pa r e n ts an d students ha d a glimpse o f hostel life at the Adam Schall Residence o f United College on 12t h March, when it s first Open Da y was held. Th e Residence, commanding a magnificent view o f Tolo Harbour, accommodates 12 5 male an d 125 female students i n two separate wings. • Th e Chinese Music Club, organized b y students o f New Asia College, held a concert a t th e College's Auditorium o n 25th March. • Th e Student Unions o f Ne w Asia College an d Chung Ch i College jointly held a seminar on 30th March at Chung Ch i College t o discuss one o f Dr . Li u Shuhsien's articles, “O n Student Movement i n Hong Kong", an d other problems. Dr . Li u himself also attended. • Th e Student Union o f New Asia College sponsored a speech contest i n Mandarin o n th e theme o f “The World o f Today" at the College's 135th Monthly Meeting on 3r d March. Miss Cheung Kam-tai, a Chinese major, won th e Championship, while Miss Fung See-man o f the Chemistry Department an d Mr . Luen Chih-biau o f the English Department wo n th e second an d third places.
