Prof, Hsueh has been active in educational circles, and is serving as a member of the Committee of Management of the Centre of Asian Studies of the University of Hong Kong, President of the Southeast Asian Social Science Association, Chairman of the Development Administration Group of Asia, member of the Executive Council of the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration, and academic alternate member of the Administrative Board of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL). Prof. Hsueh will leave for Singapore in September.
