The translation of English into Chinese by means of a modified CULT system has been studied. Fig. 3 shows a sample Chinese output. The Chinese characters are drawn by a plotting device. The translation of other language-pairs as well as simultaneous translation of multilinguals are being investigated. To say the least, the future of CULT is promising.
