arts and you must not talk of accomplishments. Q. Shall we ever have a chance to see your calligraphy and your paintings? A. The Fine Arts Department of this University is going to mount a one-man exhibition o f calli graphy and paintings for me early next year. Ex hibits comprise ninety pieces o f calligraphy and fifty paintings. I have never held a one-man exhi bition before, but some o f my paintings have been exhibited abroad. I am also going to publish the selected works o f my calligraphy and paintings at the same time. It is hoped that artists and calligraphists w ill let me have the benefit o f their views. Q. How many poems have you published over the years? A. The collection of my poems and Tz'ú w ill come o ff the press early next year, most of which have never been published before. This book contains nearly one thousand poems and about 350 Tz'ú. Among them Le Recueil Du Lac Noir and 30 Poems Chinois SurL'auvergne have been rendered into French by Professor Paul Demiéville and Professor A. Levy respectively.
