student Enrolment 1987-88 Compared with the previous year, the University in 1987-88 sees an increase in overall student enrolment from 7,221 to 7,629. Full-time undergraduate enrolment grows from 5,407 to 5,625, part-time enrolment from 518 to 602, and postgraduate enrolment from 1,296 to 1,402. Among all the full-time undergraduate departments, the Department of Chinese Language and literature carries the biggest student number of 281, followed by the Department of Social Work with an enrolment of 270. In the Graduate School, the Part-time DipEd Programme has the biggest student enrolment of 604, followed by the Three-Year MBA Programme with an enrolment of 177. In 1987-88, the following new programmes have been introduced: MBA Programme in Finance and Accounting (full-time); MPhil Programme in Anthropology (full-time and part-time). I.
