The University has recently received the following gifts and donations: (1) From Mr. C.F. Hu a further donation of US$100,000 towards the C.F. Hu Education Endowment Fund established at Chung Chi College. (2) From an anonymous donor a donation of HK$20,000 for the establishment of an endowment fund in support of the Au Yeung Kit Fong Education Thesis Award and the Au Yeung Kit Fong Education Research Paper Award for students of the School of Education. (3) From an anonymous donor a donation of HK$20,000 for the establishment of an endowment fund in support of the Teuk Ki To Community Health Essay Award for a medical student who has written the best essay on community health, to be awarded as from 1987-88.
