Hong Kong: Aspects of t he Fu t u re An Address by Lord Wilson of Tillyorn Ch a n c e l l o r ,V i c e - Chan c e l l orfellow members of the University, ladies and gentlemen: I cannot tell you what a tremendous pleasure it is to be back in Hong Kong amongst so many old friends and familiar places. So much of my life has been bound up with Hong Kong in one way or another, either here or involved wit h its affairs. Every time I have returned, however short the absence, it is a great thrill to see from the aircraft the islands, and then the densely crowded tip of Kowloon, coming into sight. It is an even greater thrill to feel again the bustle and energy of this remarkable place. How much more so after an absence of three and a half years. 12
