Thi r ty Years of Qual ity Business Administ rat ion Education at Postgraduate Level A pioneer in business administration educatio n in Hong Kong, the University's MBA Programmes celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Celebration activities began with a Li & Fung Lecture and culminated in a grand banquet at the Sheraton Hotel. Other major events included an executive forum on MBA education and the first CUMBA alumni day on campus. Widely recognized as a leading graduate programme in business administration in th e Asia Pacific region, the MBA Programmes at The Chinese University have a long tradition of excellence in scholarship and relevance in practice. Starting as a full-time graduate programme in 1966, the programmes diversified into part-time business education for aspiring young peopl e at wor k in 1977, and then more recently in 1993 into managerial education for senior executives who serve the business communities in Hong Kong, China, and the Asia-Pacific region. Close to 500 CUMBA alumni, faculty members, and distinguished guests gathered for an evening of shared memories and renewed friendships at the 30th anniversary banquet on 16th November
