校友歡送校長伉儷晚會 A lu m n i B id A d ieu to th e Kaos 中 文大學校友會聯會六月三十曰假 文華酒店舉行晚會，歡送即將榮休的 高錕校長。 是晚盛會聚 集了五十至九十 年代的校友二百 多 人 ，候任校長 李國章伉儷亦應 邀出席。 晚會由洪朝 豐先生任司儀， 程序簡單，但節 目豐富。先由中 大校友會聯會會 長李劍雄先生及晚會籌委會召集人香樹輝先 生分別致辭，隨放映了約長十分鐘的「高錫 在任實錄」影帶，然後晚宴正式開始。 席間，許冠文先生應邀作祝酒前談話， 幽默地解釋何謂光纖，惹起哄堂笑聲；素有 「光纖之父」稱譽的高錕教授也連忙把他的解 釋筆錄下來。 餐後餘興節目包括粵曲演唱「榮休頌」， 洪朝豐演唱梅派京劇《蘇三起解》之「起解」， 以及崇基弦樂四重奏。校友更邀請高教授上 台表演其拿手曲目「 Around the World I Search fo r Y ou 」 。抽獎完畢，更即興舉行唱校歌競 賽 ’最終由新亞校友奪得冠軍。 這次歡送會充滿了敘舊的氣氛，場面溫 馨感人，予出席者留下了難忘的印象。 □ T he F ed e ra tio n o f A lu m n i A ssocia tio n s o f T he C h ine se U n iv e rs ity o f H o n g K o n g h e ld a fa rew e ll p a rty fo r v ice - chancellor Prof. Charles K.
