New Academic Department The U n i v e r s i t y C o u n c il has a p p r o v e d the Senate's recommendation to dissolve the C o mm i t t e e o n E u r o p e an L a n g u a g e s a n d e s t a b l i s h a n e w D e p a r t m e n t of M o d e r n Languages and Intercultural Studie s f r om 1st A u g u s t 1998.
