T he U n i v e r s i ty w i l l a d m i t its f i r s t b a t ch of 15 f u l l - t i me students i n Chinese Me d i c i ne i n 1999. U n d e r this m e m o r a n d u m, the students w i l l go to the Ch i n e s e M e d i c i n e C l i n i c of K w o n g Wa h H o s p i t al for clinical attachment d u r i n g the course of thei r study. T he m e m o r a n d u m also paves the w a y for the o r g a n i z a t i o n of s ymp o s i a , seminars, a n d m e e t i n gs o n C h i n e s e m e d i c i n e, t h e d e v e l o p m e n t o f t h e c l i n i c al p r a c t i c e o f Chinese me d i c i n e, as w e l l as the p r o m o t i on of c l i n i c a l research o n the safe a n d p r o p er a dm i n i s t r a t i on of Chinese medicine.
