Ground-breaking for Hong Kong's First Teaching Hotel The ground-breaking ceremony of the University's teaching hotel was held on the afternoon of 19th December 2001. The first of its kind in Hong Kong and the region, the hotel will be built on a site adjacent to the University Train Station, over- looking the scenic Tolo Harbour. It will be a 600-room four-star international hotel with 10,000 squaremetres of conference and teaching facilities for use by the University.
