Li exchanging greetings w i th Dr. Cheng Yu Tung I would like to send my warmest congratulations to The Chinese University of Hong Kong on the naming of the CUHK Faculty of Business Administration as the Number One MBA School by Asia Inc. This is a significant achievement for the University as well as for the higher education sector of Hong Kong. It demonstrates that Hong Kong is not just a premium commercial and financial hub of the region but also a top-class centre for business and management education in the Asia Pacific. The results we re released i n the A u g u s t 2002 issue of the magazine. The 62 business schools i n the Asia-Pacific r e g i o n t a k i n g p a r t i n the 2002 s u r v e y w e r e assessed u s i ng three criteria: f a c u l ty resources, s t u d e nt quality, a nd academic r e p u t a t i o n. The magazine noted that C U H K was ' r e n own ed for t he d e p t h o f i ts f a c u l t y r e s o u r c e s' a n d ' i ts c o mm i t m e nt to i n n o v a t i on w a s the k ey to its N o . 1 place'.
