4 0 T H ANNIVERSARY C E L E B R A T I O N S T he Chinese University of Hong Kong turned 40 on 17th October 2003. A rich assortment of celebrations were organized throughout the year under the theme of ‘Advance and Excel'. The festive spirit increased in pitch as the year progressed, culminating around the anniversary date and year-end.
