Candidates are interviewed individually to get a better sense of whether they possess not only the paper skills, but also the actual skills to be good lawyers. Language The school goes to great lengths to ensure its students are highly competent in both Chinese and English. By capitalizing on the University’s distinction in Chinese Studies, it gives its students the full benefits of the Chinese scholarship and support available at CUHK. It also places strict requirements on students’ A-level achievements. During their studies at CUHK, the studentswill be given rigorous language training.All must pass the IELTS test with a 7.0 or above in order to become practising lawyers. All courses at the school are delivered in English, except specialist courses inChinese.And an international faculty drawn fromover 10 countries help give students exposure to different legal cultures and language skills.
