Student Health Ambassadors To foster positive attitudes towards health among students, the ACHPP and the UHS launched a Campus Health Ambassadors Programme in 2003. Each year, about 40 students — 10 from each constituent College — are trained to be leaders in promoting and organizing health- related activities at their respective Colleges. Since 2004, these health ambassadors have taken health beyond the campus gates by becoming mentors to secondary school students and doing voluntary work. They also attend international healthy university conferences and meet with health ambassadors from other universities in the region. 'Many different units at the University are involved in health promotion. The CHPP website serves as a platform on which to share and update information. It takes time to cultivate lifestyles and consciousness. But this is our common goal. Health promotion is a cornerstone of primary health care,' said Prof. Cheng. 11 Local Actions Global Tasks
