Hands-on Feet-on Amidst an autumnal breeze, some 600 staff and students of the University walked from the University train station to Shaw College on 2 November 2007. These walkers were the participants of the Walking Campaign, which was held again by the Committee on Health Promotion and Protection following its successful debut in March. The route began at the entrance of the University MTR station, made its way through Chung Chi College and Main Campus, to end at the lecture theatre of Shaw College. The whole walk took about 40 minutes. A launch ceremony was held prior to the event. It was officiated by Prof. Jack Cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fok Tai-fai, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Lee Shiu-hung, Emeritus Professor of Community Medicine, Prof. Michael Hui, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lam Kin-che, chairman of the University Steering Committee on Environment, and the Heads of the four constituent Colleges. 19 Local Actions Global Tasks
