Bulletin Autumn‧Winter 2007

The Chinese University of Hong Kong held its 64th Congregation for the Conferment of Degrees on 6 December 2007. Dr. the Honourable Donald Tsang, Chancellor of the University, presided at the congregation. A total of 6,281 degrees and honorary degrees were conferred. The former included the first batch of two Juris Doctors and 56 Masters of Laws from the School of Law. The University also conferred honorary doctorates on four distinguished persons, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to academic and cultural advancement, socio-economic progress, the promotion of the well-being of the people, and the development of the University.
