14 Chinese University Bulletin Special Supplement 2010 December 2009 Live Broadcast of Nobel Lecture on CUHK Campus and Website P rofessor Kao’s Nobel Lecture in Physics entitled ‘Sand from Centuries Past; Send Future Voices Fast’ was delivered on 8 December by Mrs. Gwen Kao in Stockholm, Sweden. To share this memorable moment with CUHK members and the public, the University broadcast the lecture live on campus and the Internet. An audience of around 300 including Vice-Chancellor Prof. Lawrence J. Lau, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kenneth Young, and Prof. C.N. Yang gathered at T.Y.
