2.2 Associate and auditing students of full-time undergraduate programmes 2.2.1 Associate students (a) An applicant whose educational standard is considered adequate by the department and the board of the faculty concerned may be admitted as an associate student to pursue an approved course of study not leading to a degree of the University. (b) Application for admission as an associate student shall be supported by a certified true copy of academic record and made to the Registrar by a specified date. (c) An associate student shall receive an academic report on the course/s he has taken. 2.2.2 Auditing students (a) An applicant whose educational standard is considered adequate by the department and the board of the faculty concerned may be admitted as an auditing student. (b) Application for admission as an auditing student shall normally be made to the Registrar by a specified date. (c) An auditing student shall not receive any grade or other academic recognition for the course/s taken. 2.3 Auditing students of part-time undergraduate programmes 2.3.1 An applicant whose educational standard is considered adequate by the programme concerned and the Senate Committee on Part-time Degree Programmes may be admitted as an auditing student. 2.3.2 Application for admission as an auditing student shall normally be made to the Registrar by a specified date. 2.3.3 An auditing student shall not receive any grade or other academic recognition for the course/s taken. 2.4 Associate and auditing students of postgraduate programmes 2.4.1 Associate students (a) An applicant whose educational standard is considered adequate by the graduate division concerned may be admitted upon the approval of the Council of the Graduate School as an associate student to pursue an approved course of advanced study or research not leading to a certificate, diploma or higher degree of the University. (b) Normally, application for admission as an associate student shall be supported by a certified true copy of academic record and made to the Registry via the graduate division concerned by a specified date. 2.4.2 Auditing students (a) An applicant whose educational standard is considered adequate by the graduate division concerned may be admitted as an auditing student. (b) Normally, application for admission as an auditing student shall be made to the Registry via the graduate division concerned by a specified date.
