It launched the first BBA, MAcc and MPhil/PhD programmes in accountancy in Hong Kong. The fundamental aim of the school is to achieve excellen ce and distinction in teaching, research, and service, and to maintain close relationships with the community and industry. Itis committed to providing accounting education of an international standard which encompasses a global view, and which is also rooted in Chin ese culture. The school is a fou nding member o f the Dragon League, an acad emic alliance comprising accounting departmen ts of CUHK, Pekin g Univ ersity, Fu dan Univer sity, and Taiwan University. Besides having the full accredidation of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants, the school is th e only accredited member in Asia of both the Federation of Schools of Accountancy and the AACSB-International.
