Underlying all streamsis the common theme of developing and applying engineering methodologies and information technologies to decision-mak ing and problem so lving in complex systems in business, industry, and the public sector. At the graduate level, the department offers programmes leading to the degrees of MSc, MPhil, and PhD in systems eng ineering and engin eering manag ement. The department is also activ ely engaged in research related to decision methodology and operations,e-commerce tech nologies, inf ormation systems, engineering management, and finan cial engineering.
