77 With support from various foundations, the University organizes conferences related to academic development and social changes which are attended by renowned scholars the world over. The University is actively involved in providing training and consultancy services to governmental agencies and the business community on the mainland. Both regular and tailor-made courses are offered. In response to the rapid economic growth of the mainland and the need for high calibre business executives, the University has launched an MBA Programme in Finance in cooperation with Tsinghua University, a Master of Professional Accountancy Programme with the Shanghai National Accounting Institute, and a Master Programme in Psychology, and a Master of Accountancy Programme with Peking University. The University’s Beijing Liaison Office, located on the campus of Peking University, provides logistics support to exchange activities conducted by University members and helps enhance cooperation with mainland institutions.
