The Professorial Inaugural Lecture Series (website: http://www.cuhk.edu . hk/iso/prof/index.htm) carries the full text of the inaugural lectures of the University’s chair professors. From 2000 onwards the series has been published only in electronic format. The Wei Lun Lecture Series (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/iso/weilun/ index.htm) carries the text of lectures given by Wei Lun Visiting Professors to the University since 1991. From 2000 onwards the series has been published only in electronic format. The CUHK Newsletter (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/iso/newslter/ news.htm) is published on a fortnightly basis and carries University news, announcements, personalia, as well as interviews and feature articles. It is primarily intended for staff members of the University. The E-Newsletter (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/enews) , an electronic newsletter launched in July 2004, brings news of interest to staff, students, alumni and friends in a quick and user-friendly manner. It is published periodically as needed, without a fixed schedule. Each issue is sent via mass mailing, and all issues can be accessed from its website. Facts and Figures (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/iso/facts/home.htm) is published in the form of pamphlets in spring each year to capture the essence of the University’s latest statistical information. Apart from these publications, the Information Services Office also maintains a Database on Staff Community Service and Service to CUHK which, at present, is only available for internal reference. The University’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and regulations are compiled by the University Registry and the Graduate School and published annually. Information about research activities and staff publications is contained in an annual publication entitled Research Projects and Publications (website: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/rtao/research/rpp0304/publicat.htm) compiled by the University’s Research and Technology Administration Office. From the 2000–01 issue on, the publication is available in electronic format only. Staff Association of The Chinese University of Hong Kong The Staff Association of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUSA) is a trade union registered with the government. Its membership is open to all full- time non-teaching staff employed by the University under Terms of Services (A), (B) and (C), irrespective of race, sex, religion and rank. Founded in 1981, the association has the following objectives: • to obtain and maintain just conditions of employment; • to protect the interest of its members;
