460 Part 7 • University Ordinance and Regulations degree, and one or more visiting examiners who shall not be members of the academic staff of the University and who shall not have taken part in the teaching of the candidates shall be appointed for the subject by the Council upon the recommendation of the Senate or in the case of emergency by the Vice-Chancellor. 4. The visiting examiner or examiners shall — ( a ) call for at his or their discretion the examination scripts of all or any, but not less than one-third, of the examinations qualifying for the degree in the subject for which he is or they are appointed; ( b ) submit to the Vice-Chancellor an annual written report; and ( c ) visit the University not less than once every 3 years to review in depth the examinations on site. STATUTE 28 Citation The Statutes may be cited as the Statutes of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In this Schedule, unless the context otherwise requires — “Boards of Trustees” means the Boards of Trustees of the Colleges incorporated under paragraph 2; “Chairman” means the Chairman of each Board of Trustees; “College” means an original College and “Colleges” shall be construed accordingly; “Council” means the Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. 2. (1) There shall be a Board of Trustees of Chung Chi College which shall be a body corporate and shall have the name of “The Trustees of Chung Chi College” and in that name shall have perpetual succession, and may sue and be sued, and shall have and use a common seal. (2) There shall be a Board of Trustees of The United College of Hong Kong which shall be a body corporate and shall have the name of “The Trustees of The United College of Hong Kong” and in that name shall have perpetual succession, and may sue and be sued, and shall have Interpretation.
