Main contributive areas include engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, communications, design, ergonomics and human factors, cognitive psychology and philosophy. The impact of multimedia applications is tremendous – it can range from medicine to entertainment, from bridging the societal digital divide to remote space exploration.
