The Constituent Colleges 27 Part 1 Wu Yee Sun College The College was established in 2007 with very generous support fromWuYee Sun Charitable Foundation Ltd. It wishes to cultivate among students a commitment to personal and social responsibility as well as integrity which will lay the foundation for making contributions to society and an enriching life in the future. Located on Residence Lane 1 between Shaw College and Lee Woo Sing College, and next to C.W. Chu College, it can accommodate 600 residential students and in addition up to another 600 non-residential students. The College will be operated by 2012. Lee Woo Sing College The College was established in 2007 with very generous support from an anonymous donor. It wishes to help broaden students’ understanding of and liaison with Hong Kong, the mainland and the world, so as to enable them to build up a successful career in future, and to encourage them to contribute to their alma mater and the society. Located by Residence Road in the valley in front of the Chan Chun Ha Hostel, it can accommodate 600 residential students and in addition up to 600 non-residential students. Prof. Joseph Lau Wan-yee, a world-renowned expert on hepato-pancreato- biliary surgery and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed as the Master-Designate of Lee Woo Sing College in June 2008. The College will be operated by 2012.
