中 大 通訊 M y Work Many people do not believe that I have worked at CU for over 25 years. At first I was assigned to the office of the professor of world history at Chung Chi College. When the University Library was completed the office was moved to the basement of the Library Building. Upon the retirement of the professor, I was transferred to the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Faculty of Business Administration. As my duty was to provide clerical support to the department chairman, I had to move office every time a new chairman took over. I have worked on the campuses of all colleges except Shaw. Two years ago I was transferred to my present post at the Office of Industrial and Business Development. This is a completely different and challenging job when compared with the routine duties in the teaching departments. Here I have the opportunity to contact and meet people from the outside: people from government offices, industrial and commercial firms, and other tertiary institutions. 憑此照可重溫香港七十年代初流行的髮型服式。與我(左一)合照的是劉仇麗芬(左二)， 劉謝秀霞(左三)和郭偉良(左四)，他們全都領取了長期服務獎，至今仍在中大服務。 背景是大學行政樓。 工商界聯絡與發展處 鍾智鳴 大學圖書館系統盧志雄 這是一九六九年大學圖書館全體同事的合照，我站在中排右五位置。當年 大學圖書館位於范克廉樓地庫，即今泳池快餐店現址，規模猶小。 君子修德　無不獲報 六八年受聘於聯合書院爲電話接線生，七二 年 隨 聯 合 遷 入 馬 料 水 校 舍 ， 七 六 年 升 爲 二 級文 員，這一切都恍如昨天的事。 自八零年調任科學館辦公室迄今，先後協 助 六 位 主 管 工 作 ， 管 理 科 學 館 。 其 中 以 首任 主 管 吳 寧 女 士 給 我 的 印 象 最 深 刻 ， 因 她 適時 給 我 提 點 和 鼓 勵 ， 加 添 我 的 工 作 幹 勁 ， 是我 的良師益友。 科學館的工作雖使我忙得喘不過 氣來，卻提供良好的鍛鍊機會，増 強我的辦事能力。最近接到消息， 須兼負工程學大樓的管理工作， 令我興奮非常。這份滿足感， 源自對自己工作能力的確定， 不是金錢回報所能比擬的。 多年來，我都秉持「君子修德，無不獲報； 儒者明理，奚爲費辭。」的原則待人處事。今次 獲頒長期服務獎，我既感欣慰，亦引以爲榮。 科學館辦公室 盧麥巧莊 第五十五期　一九九四年六月 5
