Applications are invited by the Board of Trustees of the Bishop Williams Memorial Fund of the Anglican-Episcopal Church of Japan (Nippon Sei Ko Kai - NSKK) for participation in their Visiting Researcher/Trainee Programme 2001-3. Successful applicants w i ll be attached to Rikkyo University in Tokyo or other NSKK-affiliated institutions in Japan for research or training in their chosen field for approximately one and a half years from October 2001. During the initial six months, participants w i ll be expected to undertake training in the Japanese language. Tuition w i ll be waived and a stipend of ¥150,000 per month and single person's quarters w i l l be provided. Transportation expenses to and f r om Japan w i l l be reimbursed. The applicant should be under 35 years of age on 1st October 2001. He/she should be a graduate of a university or college, who, at the present time, may be employed in the civil service, a company, or a commercial, agricultural or educational enterprise, or enrolled in graduate school, or engaged in research or training at a recognized educational or research institution, or may be a graduate of a junior college or a specialized technical/vocational school with a few year s of actual working experience subsequent to his/her graduation. He/she should also be an Anglican recommended by the Anglican bishop of his/her diocese, or a Christian of another denomination recommended by an Anglican bishop. Such changes may be reported on prescribed forms obtainable from the Personnel Office (Tel. 2609 7189 )， and, where applicable, the originals or certified true copies of relevant supporting documents should be attached. Change of personal data may have implications on the appointees' entitlement to benefits at the University. For instance, newly married staff should report the change in their marital status since married couples should opt to receive benefits from either the University or his/her spouse's employer. Such benefits may include the following: Fringe Benefits Examples of Changes in Personal Data Affecting Eligibility for Benefits Children's education allowances • Newborns should be reported so as to include them as eligible members. Housing benefits • Change of family size (e.g. marital status/birth of child) should be reported as it may affect the rates of Private Tenancy allowance. • Change o f marital status/spouse's employment should be reported for clearance of the Rules for the Prevention of Double Housing Benefits. Passages • Newborns should be reported so as to include them as eligible members.
