宣 布 事 項 ANNOUNCEMENTS 更改強積金計劃僱員自願供款的百分比 Change of Employee Voluntary Contribution on MPFS 強積金計劃成員可於每年四月一日及十月一日,更改僱員自願供款的百分比。 倘欲由二零零三年四月一日起更改該百分比者,可向薪津及公積金組索取表格,或從 財務處網頁( http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/bursary/eng/default.htm) 下 載,填妥後於二零零三年 三月十日(星期一)或之前送達或傳真(二六零三七八九零)至薪津及公積金組。 查詢或索取表格,請致電薪津及公積金組(內線七二三六或七二五一)。 Pleased be reminded that members of the Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme (MPFS) can change the nominated percentage of the MPFS Employee Voluntary Contribution twice a year. The changes will be effective on 1st April and 1st October of each year. MPFS members who wish to change the percentage of the employee voluntary contribution with effect from 1st April 2003 should complete the 'Change of Employee Voluntary Contribution' Form which can be downloaded from the Bursary website at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/bursary/ eng/default.htm or obtained from the Payroll and Superannuation Unit. The completed form should be sent to the Payroll and Superannuation Unit by mail or fax (2603 7890) on or before 10th March 2003 (Monday). Staff on the said Terms of Service can seek reference from the office copies or refer to the on-line Staff Handbook on the Personnel Office web-page at http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/personnel. Those who need a print copy of the Staff Handbook may download it from the above website. Subject to stock being available, they may also request a set of page dividers to organize their own copies in their file folders. The new editions of the Staff Handbooks contain the updated information as at December 2002. The existing version of the Staff Handbook (in A5 size) is now obsolete, and distribution of the update packages to individual colleagues will not continue. The on-line Staff Handbook will be updated more frequently to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the contents. Staff will continue to be informed of each updated issue via e-mail. Terms of Service (C) and equivalent staff may not have ready access to computer or Internet facilities and will therefore continue to be provided with printed Staff Handbooks. An exhibition on Hepatitis w i ll be held at the University clinic. Blood tests for antibodies and antigens w i ll be available to staff, their dependents, and students, and vaccinations will be administered for those in need. The blood tests, costing $100 per test, will take place from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. on 6th and 7th March at the University clinic. They are required for Hepatitis B vaccination, and optional for Hepatitis A. Vaccination for Hepatitis A comes in two doses at $225 per dose, while that for Hepatitis B comes in three, at $70 each. Vaccination for combined Hepatitis A and B comes in three doses at $220 per dose. The vaccination dates and times for the three doses are respectively 13th and 14th March, 10th and 11th April, and 18th and 19th September, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. 糖尿病與肥胖講座 陳重娥教授應保健處邀請,於下月四日(星期二)下午一至二時在保健醫療中心健康 教育室主講「糖尿病與肥胖」。歡迎出席。 World Trade Centre Club Membership The University holds a membership of the World Trade Centre Club (WTCC). A staff member nominated by the University to take up the membership is eligible to use the club's facilities including the function rooms, the sports facilities located at the Excelsior Hotel, and the reciprocal arrangements that the club has made with the Grand Royal Club, Shatin Race Course Private Box, and a number of golf clubs. Full-time Terms (A) or equivalent staff members are invited to bid for the privilege of being the University's nominee with effect from 1st April 2003. The minimum bid, i.e. the monthly charge payable to the University, is HK$150. In the case of identical bids, preference will be given to staff with longer service. Membership, subject to the nominee remaining a full-time Terms (A) or equivalent employee of the University, has a minimum term of two years and can be extended for another year at the member's request and the University's agreement. The new member pays a transfer fee of HK$3,000 to WTCC as well as a monthly membership fee of HK$880 (inclusive of spouse and children between 16 and 21 years of age). The transfer fee is refundable if the member keeps his/her membership for over two years. No pro-rata refund will be made. Eligible and interested staff members should submit their bids to the Tender Board, c/o Business Office, G/F, John Fulton Centre, in envelopes marked 'Application for World Trade Centre Club Membership' before 2.30 p.m. on 4th March 2003.
