Shek ISSN 1560-8255 文物館 A r t Museum 《樸拙傳神——二義草堂藏石灣陶塑》（中、英文） 陳娟安編 此書為文物館同名展覽的圖錄，收錄二義草堂藏石灣陶 塑一百八十項，主要為晚清及民國時期陶塑人物動物及日用 器皿，均為石灣窯最有代表性的傳統品種。展品中有陶工名 款可考者達一百一十四項，其中鈐印石灣名家如黃炳、陳渭 巖、潘玉書、霍津、劉傳等姓名堂名印章者有七十七件。數 量之多，為歷年石灣陶塑展覽之冠。此書圖文並茂，中英對 照，全部展品附彩色圖版，收錄曾廣億先生、黃篤維先生和 施 麗 姬 博 士 專 文 ， 以 及 陶 塑 大 師 劉 傳 先 生 的 遺 作 《 論傳 神》，又附上世紀二十年代陳渭巖和潘玉書在香港銅鑼灣舊利園遊樂場創作的彩塑照 片 及 資 料 。 此 書 為 進 一 步 考 證 石 灣 名 家 陶 塑 的 仿 品 問 題 ， 提 供 了 很 好 的 風 格 鑑 別線 索。 國際統一書號 9 6 2 - 7 1 0 1 - 6 5 - 6 ，精裝本，二百七十三頁（連彩版一百八十頁）， 五百港元。 Rustic Images — Shiwan Ware from the Eryi Caotang Collection (in Chinese and English) Edited by Chan Kuen On This exhibition catalogue, published by the Art Museum, consists of 180 items of Shiwan human and animal figures as well as daily wares selected from the Eryi Caotang Collection. Largely made in the late Qing and Republic periods (19th to mid-20th centuries), they represent unique traditions of Shiwan ware. Out of the 114 inscribed items, there are 77 pieces by revered artist-potters like Huang Bing, Chen Weiyan, Pan Yushu, Huo Jin and L iu Chuan, and also by prominent Shiwan pottery workshops and kilns. This sizable number of exhibits with recognized artists' signatures has broken the record of Shiwan pottery exhibitions ever mounted. A l l exhibits are reproduced in full colour. There are scholarly essays by Zheng Guangyi, Huang Duwei and Dr. Fredrikke S. Scollard, and a reprint of the late Mr. L iu Chuan's essay 'Lifelikeness' . The 'Painted Plaster Figures of Lee Garden, Hong Kong' in the appendix registers a special project completed by Chen Weiyan and Pan Yushu in the 1920s. In view of the myriad of counterfeits, this catalogue provides useful references to the studies of Shiwan artist- potters and their styles.
