Jorgenson為美國哈佛大學的莫理斯大學教授、美國經濟學會前任會 長及傑出院士，也是香港中文大學基金會（美國）的董事。他將獲頒榮譽社會科學 博士學位。 鄺廣傑大主教是香港聖公會教省榮休大主教，曾出任香港聖公會教省首任大主教 及教省主教長，以及港澳教區首位華人主教。他將獲頒榮譽社會科學博士學位。 董建華博士，大紫荊勳賢，現任全國政協副主席，是香港特別行政區首任行政 長官，亦為香港中文大學前任監督。他將獲頒榮譽法學博士學位。 康本健守先生是傑出的企業家、物業發展商及慈善家，致力拓展香港、全中 國、日本以及世界各地青年學生的國際視野，並促進文化交流。他將獲頒榮譽 社會科學博士學位。 CUHK will confer honorary doctorates on four distinguished persons at its Sixty- fourth Congregation to be held on 6 December 2007, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to academic and cultural advancement, socio-economic progress, the promotion of the well-being of the people, and the development of CUHK. • • • • Prof. Dale W. Jorgenson is Samuel W. Morris University Professor of Harvard University, the former president and distinguished fellow of the American Economic Association, and a director of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation, Inc. (USA). The University will confer upon Prof. Jorgenson the degree of Doctor of Social Science, honoris causa . The Most Reverend Dr. Kwong Kong-kit, Peter, Archbishop Emeritus of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, was the first Chinese Bishop and then the first Archbishop and Primate of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. The University will confer upon Dr. Kwong the degree of Doctor of Social Science, honoris causa . Dr. the Honourable Tung Chee-hwa, GBM, the Vice-Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of the People’s Republic of China, was the first Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and former Chancellor of the Chinese University. The University will confer upon Dr. Tung the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa . Mr. Alex K. Yasumoto is an eminent entrepreneur, property developer and philanthropist who is keen on promoting international exchange among the young people of Hong Kong, China as a whole, Japan and other places in the world.
