The circular is also available at the ‘personnel announcements’ section of the Personnel Office website https://perntc.per.cuhk.edu.hk/ personnel/announcement.asp . 平安夜、新年除夕及農曆新年除夕等大學假日辦公安排 Staffing Arrangements on University Holidays on Christmas Eve, New Year Eve and Chinese New Year Eve 根據大學關於平安夜、新年除夕及農曆新年除夕等大學假日辦公之安排,所有部門於 2010年12月24日(星期五)、12月31日(星期五)及2011年2月2日(星期三)上午須留有職 員值班。當值之(乙)或(丙)類服務條例職員可獲補假半天。 保健處、大學圖書館系統、資訊科技服務處之電算機操作組、保安組、交通組、物業管理處 等部門須足夠人手留駐以維持基本服務。 The following staffing arrangements for the University holidays on Christmas Eve, New Year Eve and Chinese New Year Eve will apply on Friday, 24 December 2010; Friday, 31 December 2010; and Wednesday, 2 February 2011 respectively. Departments/units should arrange skeleton staff on duty on these mornings to handle urgent matters and enquiries. Offices will be closed in the afternoon. Skeleton staff (Terms [B] or [C]) on duty on each morning will be given compensation leave of half a day. For essential service units such as the University Health Service, the University Library System, the Operations Team of the Information Technology Services Centre, the Security Unit, the Transport Unit, and the Estates Management Office, adequate workforce should remain on duty to provide basic services. 善衡書院辦公室遷址 Relocation of S.H. Organized by the CU Tree Project, Green Education Group, Office of The Arts Administrator, Landscaping Section of the Estates Management Office, the School of Life Sciences, and sponsored by Hang Seng Bank, the competition aims at enhancing knowledge of trees on campus and promoting care for trees and nature. The first, second, third and merit awards are book prizes worth $2,000, $1,000, $500 and $200 respectively. The deadline for submission is 31 December 2010. For enquiries, please contact Ms. Chan (2696 1598) or Ms. Tsang (2609 7851). 訃告 Obituary 本校職員黃燕雲女士於2010年10月27日逝世,校方深致哀悼。黃女士於1994年7月1日加 入中大,先後服務於校長辦公室及全球經濟及金融研究所,任職二級主任。 The University mourns the passing of Miss Wong Yin-wan Margaret on 27 October 2010. Miss Wong joined the University on 1 July 1994.
