Muse College is committed to nurturing and cultivating students to be global citizens with aspirations and ideals through non-formal education programmes, a wide variety of student activities and a multitude of exchange opportunities in an interactive and engaging learning environment which encourages them to think constantly, critically and gratefully. Chinese University Bulletin No. 2, 2018 12 Prof. David Chen Yongqing, Master of Muse College enjoy a colourful college life through interacting in a harmonious and warm learning environment. Four college activities are organized under the rubric ‘MUSE 1234’. The first is the U nifun Workshop, a skills training and knowledge-based workshop. The second is the E quote Salon, where guests and audience meet for meaningful dialogues. The third is the M use Lecture, which opens up students’ critical faculties. The fourth is mu S er Action, which provides outreach opportunities to broaden students’ visions. Muse College Established in the fall of 2016, Muse College has a student population of 1,196. The college’s vision of Principles and Practice, Dedication to Humanity , encompasses three core values: co-living, co-sharing, co-flourishing. Muse College aims to establish a just, caring, and harmonious community that is diverse and conducive to students’ growth and attainment of excellence, where students respect and trust each other in an inclusive and friendly atmosphere. The College cultivates talent and promotes the idea and practice of whole-person education with equal emphasis on knowledge, skills and value. In Muse College, students will improve their interpersonal skills, cultivate cultural tastes, build up self-confidence and enhance their sense of responsibility through a variety of activities.
