Fifty-five Splendid Years 21 As the flagship programme of the University’s 55th anniversary celebrations, ‘The Pursuit of Wisdom’ Public Lecture Series amasses the wisdom and erudition of CUHK experts across disciplines for dissemination to the community. Held at Lecture Theatre One of Cheng Yu Tung Building, CUHK, the eight lectures cover translational medicine, artificial intelligence, food supply and sustainable agriculture, physics and the universe, history and psychology and are open to the public for free. In the lectures, distinguished CUHK professors will present their research experiences and achievements in highly accessible terms. Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and Lee Quo Wei and Lee Yick Hoi Lun Professor of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, kicked off the series on 11 January with ‘Regenerative Medicine: Promises and Challenges’.
