If a person graduates from university at the average age of 21, then the millennials should have graduated from university between the years 2002 and 2018. By a rough estimate, those who graduated from CUHK in the same period account for 62% of the 200,000-strong alumni body of the University. Mixing and matching interest with aspiration, the talents of these CUHK alumni are as many and diverse as the professions or callings they have chosen for themselves. Many of them have not paused at a first degree but have continued to acquire for themselves new knowledge and skills. Though many are just starting on their life’s journey, a number of them have already gained renown and recognitions in their respective fields with their innovative spirits and commitment to good causes. 18 Chinese University Bulletin No.1, 2019
