22 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2018–2019 兩位教授獲選國際應用心理學 協會院士 張妙清教授及侯傑泰教授榮膺國際應用 心理學會協會院士，為香港首次有學者獲 此殊榮。此院士榮銜為該協會最高頭銜， 每四年頒授一次，以表揚世界各地在應用 心理學成就傑出人士。 教授獲選IEEE院士 工程學院曾漢奇教授及金國慶教授，獲電 機及電子工程師學會頒授2019年度院士 榮銜，表揚他們在「非線性矽光子學及先 進的波導光柵耦合器」及「機器學習在社 交計算中理論和應用」研究的重大貢獻。 Two psychologists given top honour at International Association of Applied Psychology Prof. Fanny Cheung and Prof. Hau Kit-tai became the first Hong Kong scholars elected as fellows of the International Association of Applied Psychology. The honour is the association’s top level of membership, presented only every four years to distinguished scholars who have contributed to the field of applied psychology. Professors elected IEEE fellows Prof. Tsang Hon-ki and Prof. Irwin King of the Faculty of Engineering were elected Fellows of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in the class of 2019, for their research contributions towards ‘nonlinear silicon photonics and advanced waveguide grating couplers’ and the ‘theory and applications of machine learning in social computing’. 張妙清教授 Prof. Fanny Cheung 曾漢奇教授 Prof. Tsang Hon-ki 侯傑泰教授 Prof. Hau Kit-tai 金國慶教授 Prof. Irwin King
