22 香港中文大學年報 CUHK Annual Report 2020–2021 中大健兒於世界級 盛事創下佳績 CUHKers at Leading Sporting Events 2020–2021年是體育界大豐收的一 年。中大運動員在奧運會、殘奧會及全 運會等多項國際賽事中奮力拼搏，成績 令人驕傲。 With the Olympics, Paralympics and National Games all taking place in 2020-2021, CUHK’s athletes have once again done us proud as they achieve spectacular results in the international arena. 中大全力支持體育發展 Support to Sports at CUHK 作為香港唯一設有體育必修學分課程的 教資會資助大學，中大非常鼓勵學生參 與體育活動，以培養學生的全人發展。大 學全力支持在學精英運動員發展其運動 專業，並為他們採取多項便利措施，包 括延長修業期限、為每名學生運動員安 排專責學業輔導的導師及設立多個運動 獎學金。此外，大學亦開設運動研究診 所，醫療及運動創傷防護團隊會為大學 運動員提供定期面診服務及賽場支援。 As the only UGC-funded university in Hong Kong offering a credit-bearing compulsory Physical Education programme, the University is dedicated to promoting sports to enhance students’ whole-person development. CUHK is also an elite athlete-friendly university that provides full support and flexibility to elite athletes by adopting a wide range of measures to cater for their unique needs for academic and athletic endeavours, including the extension of the maximum study period, assignment of an academic mentor for each student athlete, and the establishment of various sports scholarships. In addition, the University has set up the Sports Research Clinic to provide regular doctor consultation and clinical sports trainer sessions as well as on-field support to University athletes. 人才輩出 Celebrating Our People
