Many alumni who have a record of impressive achievement in various sectors are eager to pass on the torch of success to fellow CUHK members. CUHK resumed the Distinguished Alumni- in-Residence Programme in October 2021 after suspending it for a year due to the pandemic. Three distinguished Alumni- in-Residence were invited to come back to their alma mater to interact and share their insights and experiences with more than 1,000 students, staff and alumni: Mr Eric Chan Cho-biu, Executive Director, Publisher and Group Director of Content of the Hong Kong Economic Times Holdings Limited; Ms Quince Chong Wai-yan, Chief Corporate Development Officer of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited; and Mr Lo Ting-fai, former Director and General Manager of HK Television Entertainment Company Limited (ViuTV). The four-day programme featured a series of guest lectures and workshops, as well as a guided tour of a newspaper office. Students also had the chance to undergo a half-year mentorship with the three esteemed alumni.
