Research 研究 31 研究、諮詢顧問服務及知識産權政策 P o l i c y o n Re s e a r c h, Co n s u l t a n c i es a n d I n t e l l e c t u al P r o p e r t y 隨著硏究活動的大幅增加，能獲取專利權或其他知識產權的硏究亦陸續出現。校方遂 於年中決定設立一套關於硏究、諮詢顧問服務及知識產權的明確指引及規則。這些指引必 然關係到專利政策、贊助、利益與義務之衝突，此外也涉及技術轉移，專業操守等。經多 番討論後，校董會於九五年六月通過整套政策，而有關的程序和執行上的具體指引，將於 稍後訂定。 W i t h the greatly enhanced level of research activities and output that c ou ld result i n patents and other intellectual property, the University decided in 1994-95 to establish a clear set of guidelines a nd regulations o n research, consultancies a nd intellectual property. These guidelines are inevitably l i n k ed to patent policy, sponsored research, conflicts of interest and commitment, technology transfer and professional ethics. After ma ny rounds of discussion i n the University, the overall policies we re passed b y the University Council in June 1995. The procedural and operational guidelines resulting therefrom w o u l d be finalized in due course.
