In 2002 and 2003, the University Grants Committee (UGC) conducted the second round of the Teaching and Learning Quality Process Reviews (TLQPRs) for all eight UGC-funded institutions and CUHK was visited by the TLQPR Panel on 16th and 17th September 2002. During the exercise, the commitment of University members to teaching and learning quality was further reinforced. The University has two special units to support teaching and learning development: the Centre for Learning Enhancement and Research and the Office of Educational Services in the Faculty of Medicine.
