46 發展里程 Lee Quo Wei Cardiovascular Intervention Centre Located at the Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH), the CUHK-PWH Lee Quo Wei Cardiovascular Intervention Centre officially opened on 2 April 2012. The centre was established in 2010 with a generous donation from Dr. Lee Quo-wei, his family and the Wei Lun Foundation Limited. With Prof. Yu Cheuk-man serving as its director and equipped with advanced imaging and invasive equipment, the 3,000-square-feet centre is the only one in Hong Kong performing renal sympathetic denervation, left atrial appendage (LAA) occluder and cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) implantation in public setting. It runs the largest percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and electrophysiology (EP) service in Hong Kong, including the largest volume of complex radiofrequency ablation and chronic total occlusion PCI, in particular retrograde approach recanalization. The centre comprises a multidisciplinary team and performs more than 2,500 invasive cardiovascular procedures every year. It provides unique and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for cardiovascular diseases (including coronary heart disease, cardiac arrhythmia and heart failure), serving a population of 1.3 million living in eastern New Territories, and acting as a referral centre for cardiovascular diseases in Hong Kong. 利國偉心血管治療中心開幕 香港中文大學威爾斯親王醫院利國偉心血 管治療中心於 2012 年 4 月 2 日正式開幕。該 中心蒙利國偉博士家族和偉倫基金有限公 司慷慨捐資，於 2010 年成立，余卓文教授出 任中心主任。 中心面積約三千平方呎，配備先進的影像 及介入治療設備，是本港公共醫療體系中 唯一進行去腎臟交感神經支配消融手術、 左心耳封堵手術和心臟收縮調節器植入術 的中心，提供全港最多經皮冠狀動脈介入 治療和電生理治療服務，當中包括大量複 雜的射頻消融手術及慢性全閉塞血管病變 介入治療，特別是利用逆行方法進行血管 再通。 這個由跨界別團隊組成的中心，每年進行超 過二千五百宗微創心血管手術，不但為新界 東一百三十萬人口提供獨有及全面的心血管 疾病（包括冠心病、心律失常、心臟衰竭等） 診療服務，亦是全港心血管病轉介中心之 一，為其他地區的心血管患者提供服務。
